On August 18, 1966, at Approximately 15.40 hours at 'Phuoc Tuy Province" South Vietman, stood 105 Australian and 3 New Zealand soliders of the 6th Battalion, Royal Austalian Regiment, came face to face with an estimated 2500 North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong Soldiers, in a rubber plantation at Long Tan.
Despite seemingly insurmountable oppostition or probability of success, they would engage in a unrelenting close quarter bloody firefight, this encounter would go down in history as the "Battle of Long Tan" as the out numbered ANZAC spirit held the opposing army away until renforcements arrived to overcome their opponents, the Anzacs only lost 18 soliders in this battle which is remarkable in its self, the names and rank etc, are displayed in there honour across the print "YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN"
